WC20 Tig Electrode contains a nominal 2wc-% of cerium oxide (CeO2). Ceriated is different from thoriated as it is not a radioactive material. WC20 Tig Electrode has good starting arc performance, low melting rate, long welding life, it is mainly used for welding under the condition of low current.
Cerium-Tungsten Electrode have good starting arc performance under the condition of low current.
The arc current is low, therefore the electrodes can be used for welding of pipe, stainless and fine parts.
Cerium-Tungsten is the first choice for replacing thoriated tungsten electrode under the condition of low DC;
